Sweigh Emily Spilkin, MFA, CHT is the founder of Vibrant Living Therapy. She offers Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Somatic Healing, Qigong sessions and classes, and workshops for individuals with trauma and chronic illness.
Sweigh's training includes certification as a Qigong energy healing practitioner from the Body Energy Center's 4-year program, certification in Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapy, and advanced training in Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing trauma resolution. Her work is heart-centered, depth-oriented and inviting. Sweigh helps people recover their innate, physical, physiological, and energetic wisdom and return to their natural vibrant aliveness.
Although she works with a variety of clients (people with anxiety, depression, in life-transition, etc.) Sweigh specializes in helping individuals living with chronic illness to regain their life force and vitality. Sweigh's biggest teacher was her recovery from chronic illness. She is grateful for all (well, most!) of its teachings.
Sweigh's office is at 703 Walnut in Boulder. She charges $75 per hour and $90 for an hour and half. A sliding scale is available.
In addition to operating her private practice, Sweigh teaches transformational arts-based, and energy healing workshops and classes. Sweigh also holds an MFA in Poetry from Naropa University, where she teaches through Extended Studies. Her biggest teacher has been her own several year bout with chronic illness. She is grateful for all (well, most!) of its teachings.
